Dzulfian Syafrian is currently deputy chief economist at Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), Indonesia’s largest bank.

He holds a Bachelor of Economics from Universitas Indonesia, an MSc Economics from University of Warwick and a PhD in Managerial Economics from Durham University. He was the President of FEBUI Student Union (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa FEBUI) during his undergraduate life and a researcher at Institute for Development of Economics and Finance (INDEF), a well-known think tank in Indonesia.

He is highly interested in sports especially football, as he co-founded a community football club RSC Football Club of Bekasi, West Java. Dzulfian is known best for playing football technically as a defensive midfielder. He always adores the flair of Andrea Pirlo and the silky speed of Kaka when they both played for AC Milan, his most favorite club alongside Liverpool Football Club in England.

Dzulfian is responsible for steering Ganesport’s football development project.
