Irman completed his Master by doing a research about education in sport. He believes that the involvement of education in sport is essential. Irman graduated from Universitas Parahyangan in Economics Science and continued his Master degree in Sport Management at Coventry University. He also holds The FA Level 1 Certificate in Coaching Football.

Irman started his football coaching career as a volunteer in Coundon Court FC in Coventry, United Kingdom, where he was promoted to be Assistant Manager for U-7 team.

His hobby is doing sport including running, muay thai, and football. He is not a glory hunter but always loves Manchester United and Internazionale Milan.
